Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish served the Catholic faithful of Manchester since 1911. In 2006 the Diocese of Manchester decided to close OLPH and unite the parishoners into Saint Anthony of Padua Parish in Manchester. The union took effect at midnight at the end of Sunday, April 30, 2006. The church (OLPH) was torn down in 2009 to make room for housing for the elderly.
