Four Greater Nashuans Ordained (15 May 1971)


Ordained today as Roman Catholic priests were the Rev. Andre M. Thibodeau of Hudson and the Rev. Maurice G. Laliberte, the Rev. Charles P. Dumont and the Rev. Ronald E.Corriveau, all of Nashua.

The ordination ceremonies took place at 10 this morning in St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester. Performing the ordinations was the Most Rev. Ernest J. Primeau, STD*, bishop of Manchester.

Father Thibodeau

Father Thibodeay is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dorilas J. Thibodeau, 1 Spruce St. Hudson. He will celebrate his first Mass this afternoon at 4 in Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds St.[Nashua]
Concelebrants of the Mass include the Rev. Msgr. Raymond Lapointe and the Reverends Joseph Sileo, Eddy Brisson, Andre Bedard, Richard Lelonis, Roland Blais and Armand Turgeon, pastor of Infant Jesus, The Rev. Edward Wright will be the homilist.

Father Thibodeau attended Infant Jesus School, Bishop Bradley High School, Manchester and St. Anselm College, Manchester. He completed studies for the priesthood at St. Francis Seminary, Loretto, Pa., and St. Mary Seminary and University, Baltimore, Md. He served in the Manchester Diocese Deacon Program in St. Paul Parish Franklin.”
